sgamerp is building a mini-course. Other than the chains (right!) he pretty much scrounged up this under-sized variety.

So, I have made a basket(it's defiantly not regulation) But I had a PVC Pipe and my girlfriends uncle works in Heating and Cooling so he has these big Baskets to cover the fans. Buying some Chains and some S hooks was a little under 25 bucks, and my roommate may throw in for some more. I will be able to have about 2 to 3 good holes with the one basket.

high country DG and friends are building an 18 hole course. Sounds like baskets are on the way but until then this affordable alternative has allowed them time to enjoy the layout. Very clear tonepole instructions and the modification makes it even better!

Just wanted to share a target design for those of us that can't afford a $200+ permanent basket. I actually found the blue print on this forum and made a slight mod...instead of bolting the lower part of the pvc to the pole, I left it loose and hung a chain on the inside of the pvc. When the pvc is struck, its loose enough (by removing the bottom bolt) to rattle the chain against the pole. Sounds just like the real thing....AND my putting game has improved because of the smaller target. This course is at roughly 11,000 ft...If your ever in Alma, CO - look me up for a tour!

The Pinwheel 1.3 is a thing of absolute beauty! After 18 years of play and study, DiscChucker set out to make a very intentional basket that fit within a 12-point list of specific criteria and he absolutely nailed it!!

There is so much much to love about this basket (under $100 bucks/folds compactly/30 lbs./chainless!/lights up) but you MUST check out the designers post to really get a sense of how special this target is. I want one!!!

I work at a ski resort and people abandon their old skis all the time. So I have well over 100 pairs of old straight skis. Its even screwed together with ski binding mounting screws. But yeah, chains didn't come off skis, lol.

It catches very well, uless you mange to get a disc threw the chains right where the square edge of the center post is. Then you get a little bounce back.

Still can't get used to the sound though, it misses that nice metal on metal "ching" sound.

Next up is a basket made out of snowboards boards, one out of all bike parts, one out of a wine barrel, and one made out of wood. My goal is a full 9 hole course by the end of summer. My house backs to Tahoe National Forrest land so my course has unlimited space, they will all be legit par 5's.

Sound or no sound, this is a genius use of old skis! This course will be one to watch.

Ridgerunner posted this babe on a lightweight backpacking forum. Although I wouldn't advise hiking this one up Halfdome this summer I admire the simple design, materials list and of course the price ($15!?!) Pretty classic do-it-yourself model made mostly of found materials. Gotta love it!

Lately, I have been spicing up my local hiking by playing disc(frisbee) golf. It gives you a good upper and lower body workout. Many of the courses are at Parks and some are in the woods. It is free and gives you a good arobic workout. As much as I enjoy the added element to my hikes, I lack the accuracy that is desired for a low score. I thought a basket in the yard might allow me to get in some much needed practice. A good basket can cost $250 and those who know me, know that is not in my budget. After searching the internet and actually buying a set of plans that I was not that keen on, I came up with my own design. Total cost was less than $15, as much of my material was in house and the trash can was a giveaway promotion. The base was 29 cents at the thrift store and the post was an old chainlink fence rail that I had used unsuccessfully as a bird house pole. The biggest cost was the chains. They are dog chains from WallyWorld and cost $6 and change for 15 ft. and I used 2 chains.

This temporary target was set up in support of building a permanent course at Lincoln Park. Not sure if the park ever got built though. Local disc golfers hosted an info session as well as a clean up of the woods. Now, that's a great way to grow the sport and gain support!

This 12-hole, homemade disc golf course sounds really cool!

Located in the valley between San Juan del Sur and the surf beach Marsella, this course is on approximately 12 acres of private land but open to public play for a small donation. The proprietor, Vince, has discs available to borrow if needed. Cabins are also available on the property (daily, weekly, or monthly) if you want to stay near the beach.

Homemade baskets are made from bamboo and shrimp netting. Front 6 holes are in the woods; back 6 holes are located in more open field. Lots of wildlife and a river flows through the land during the rainy season.
Course rules are: Respect the property; respect the creatures; don't litter; have fun.

Was thinking about a turkey day getaway (still am) and checked out the oasis known as Mercey Hot Springs. I reported this jewel waaay back in time and since then the managers have constructed 9 homemade baskets to complement their course. After blasting the open hills it is custom to soak in the soothing 100+degree mineral hot tubs. I like to pitch my tent in site #5....but that's waaay too much info. Larger than life! Guess that's how it has to happen in snowy VT though...winter golf rocks!! This basket looks super-rugged and built-to-last. It's all part of the 9-hole "Maples" course at Jackson Gore:

Okemo Mountain Resort has recently completed construction of a nine-hole disc golf course at its Jackson Gore base area. The Maples at Okemo Disc Golf Course is now open to the public and welcomes players daily from 7 a.m. until sunset. Greens fees are $2 per person and disc rentals are available for $5 (including greens fees) for a set of three discs: driver, mid-range disc and putter.

The Maples at Okemo Disc Golf Course offers play uniquely inspired by Vermont's maple sugaring traditions. The tee boxes for each target include an interpretive tour of sugaring history and the process for making maple syrup. The natural wood of the target posts pays homage to Vermont's state tree, the sugar maple. Authentic galvanized metal sap buckets atop the posts bare the number of each hole, and metal tubs serve as the destination baskets for final throws.
The longest hole, number 7, at The Maples at Okemo Disc Golf Course is 451-feet long. The shortest hole, number 6, measures 132 feet. Number 8 is the course's signature hole and requires players to throw across a brook through a narrow opening in the trees or to lay-up on a bridge before making a final approach shot. The course was designed by Adam Ford and built by Okemo staff.

Players should check in at the Jackson Gore Spring House, where they will receive a score card with a course map and some basic guidelines for play. Discs are available for rent and for purchase at the Spring House also.

Here’s my version of the ultimate home disc golf target. It should cost you about $95 to $100 per target (and take you about 4-man hours to build) but it should last you a long, long time. One more note, with the exception of the outer diameter of the ‘basket’ (made from the 55-gallon drum) this target is pretty close to the target specifications shown on the PDGA.com website.

This is the Iron Maiden - possibly one of the original baskets from the first permanent pole hole course in the world. It's still in the ground (photo taken 5/10/2009) but there's no hole that plays to it.

The Cassidy Brothers (Ryan and Sean) thought it time the sunshine state get some representation. Ryan tells me they constructed this bad boy for $50. It's built specifically for quick assembly and gets trucked around in the trunk. Upon seeing the basket on the floor I questioned its durability but upright it looks solid...a good catch indeed!

One thing is for sure though, if you're gonna putt in the house....

Now if I lived in Maiden the "welcome to" sign would most certainly be tagged 'iron'...ok, that was dorky. So is my PVC fetish! Why am I so fascinated with the plastic variety? I may need counseling. Went fishing for this beaut posted by JackAce at dgcoursereview.com, a buddy of his made it.

It's hard to see, but there are 12 steel chains and 6 plastic chains.The basket is pieces of plastic safety fence netting ziptied to the pvc.The pipe through the middle is hollow all the way through. He is going to put a 3 foot pole into the ground and just slife the basket over top so he can put it up out of the weather. He also as mutiple pvc pieces attachments to make it taller as needed.

I was wondering bout the height....looked like it was built for midgets (err, I mean little people (can that really be the PC term!?!)) Only in Iron Maiden!

Some people are just mean! ClayBoneNJ got $56 together and in two hours built this target using his dremmel drill.

I wanted to make something portable because my back yard isnt very big. so everything slides together. The pole with the L brackets into the base, the bucket slide down the pole and sits on the brackets, i cut slits in the top of the pipe so the grill would slide in, then cap it. The chains are secured with zip ties.
Upon posting at dgcoursereview.com he received comments such as:

Wow!!! Holy Shit!!! M-Low has created a target of beauty and strength. I went fishing (for the first time in too long) and came up with this sweet creation....and I must say I'm blown away (especially after the Halex Incident) This guy did his homework, took his time, invested quality materials ($250 worth) and incorporated his favorite elements of the designer baskets. Bravo my man, you set the bar real high.

I went the extra yard on the design/quality because I needed something that would stand up to the harsh Texas weather but more importantly, I needed a "that looks great" response from the wife and not a "you plan to put that where?" response when I unveiled the end product (we just got done landscaping the front yard - so couldn't really have a tire basket hanging from a tree - not to say that isn't a brilliant idea for a homemade basket)...This project was done mainly during the late night, early morning hours and on weekends in my garage - I have sacrificed about a month's worth of disc golfing to make this happen...It's been a great learning experience and I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Not homemade but noteworthy is the Halex Set widely available for $99. This 80 year old company (out of NY) specializes in table tennis gear and electronic dart boards. Apparently they've set the standard in table tennis balls which means that if you are beer ponging you may already be a client...perhaps even the president.

So, I don't know what to say here. Looks like a pretty cheap/somewhat flimsy target. I like the quick breakdown capabilities and am intriqued with the beaded chain concept...but I don't know? Don't knock it til ya try it I guess so if anyone has road tested the Halex write up a postable review and I'll post it.

Looks like it might be fun just to hack at this thing with your DX plastic and see how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll lollipop!

Joel sent these awesome pics after finding one of his earlier models posted on Just Baskets. He offers some design advice too:

One thing I found in experimenting with building baskets (I built 3 before these incarnations) is that sharp edges eat discs. I use these mostly for putting practice with soft putters, and a basket built of rubber does the least amount of damage.

I enjoyed browsing your site. I maintained (or failed to maintain) a site devoted to disc golf in Central Texas for about 7 years. It was hard to stay on top of all the changes to the courses when my free time diminished, and in the end other sites picked up the torch when gps mapping became the norm.

I say that's some tight and sturdy design work there...sweet target! Thanks for the pics and the kind words!!

Disc golf is a great sport--it's healthy, fun, low impact, and fairly inexpensive to get into. The only problem is that sometimes you just can't get out to play. ...There's no course nearby, there's two feet of snow on the ground, you lost all your discs... whatever.

Well, now there's no excuse! Play indoors by making your own disc catcher (or in this case, a "capcatcher") from a 20-ounce sports drink bottle, and use old bottle caps as the flying discs.

In my opinion, this is just farking awesome!!! Thank you for sharing this sport with the world and keep coming up with new ways for us to enjoy the flying spinning things of life!

Dischead completed the construction of his first baskets! I'm lovin' up the patio base idea. I always thought that could be a really sturdy option....great to see it done!

It cost me about $60 to make. Everything came from Lowe's except the base...which is
an umbrella stand from the ole'patio furniture--and the top of the basket...which is
an aluminum platter from an old "lazy susan".

Fantastic work...bet it catches well!

This is what it's all about! These folks are well on there way to building a grassroot DIY disc golf course on their 107 acres of camp land. My only suggestion is, why stop at 9? Good luck guys.

Conclusion: it is awesome. Shortly following, the Larry Hayden, owner of the Spokane House of Hose, made a generous donation to cover the most expensive parts of the baskets (chains, hose clamps, and zip ties). Long story short, we are nearly there for the rest of the funding to complete a DiY 9 hole disc golf course. Once we get the parts, campers can put them all together, and bring the joy of disc golf to Camp Cross. This is the most unique submission I've seen in quite some time. Jason M. sent this beaut sweetly dubbed 'The Towel Rack' to me a couple of weeks ago (I apologize for the lag time.) If you send them, I will post them though! So send them!!

This is a cool use of spare parts and just goes to prove that you can probably build a suitable target right now for no money down! Awesomeness!!

I want to start by thanking you for dedicating a site to showcasing the many unique and creative baskets folks have come up with. Just this evening I created my own contraption which I affectionately have nicknamed the Towel Rack. While it may be unconventional, it does catch pretty well from at least 15 feet and the chain configuration makes that awesome "ching" sound that's so addictive. It's quite sturdy and was thrown together with stuff I had lying around the house - PVC piping, some galvanized chain, an old bath towel and some zip ties. If you like it, feel free to post it on your site.

I wanted to get some feed back on my mega cheep baskets. I call it the "Junk Yard Basket".
First my background is as a machinist. That is what I do and I have my own shop. I have allot of cool tools, and I enjoy making my oyn stuff. When I got into disc I wanted a basket to practice with but I didnt want to buy one.
This is what I managed to come up with. This basket is very easy to make and quite cost effective. This one took me about an hour to put together. I built this quickly rather than beautifully you could make it look better with paint and such but I was going for speed.

I have been using this for a few weeks and it works well. I have never had a blow through. However I have had a few rejections where I hit it square near the top and the disk caught just right on the cross chain and got tossed back out.

I am hoping to start a revolution and get people away from the trees posts and sticks and into the chains.

Another homemade mini basket. Poached this from the MDGF website. This one is called the "Mushroom Basket" and was created by Linc Morgan. It has a story....

"The Mushroom basket is a Silver Maple Linc had Merrill Detweiller (our mentor) cut down when Linc bought the property in 1999. Merrill, a mini player for almost 20 years, helped carve a mini golf target from the 4ft.tall stump. When it was finished the basket resembled a huge mushroom, giving the course its' name, now the course is filled with mushroom knickknacks. Our monthly mini events always start at 6pm and during standard time we play in the dark. No problem, we play with our glow minis and small black lights to illuminate our discs. To enhance the fun at night the baskets at Mushroom Manor have low voltage lights mounted to the top of the baskets. Guess what? They look like mushrooms."

Fished for this one from disc golf world news.

Apparently there's a hybrid sport or even sports out there (just check out their website) which incorporates golf and disc golf into one. I'm unclear about the objective but the process invovles hitting frisbees with clubs and getting them caught in this windchime-styled target....and then something to do with balls also.

This is a bizarre site to say the least. Something about the 'tangsystem', something about the East Olympic International Yan-Yun Athletic Tournament, and people carrying around harnessed aerobies interlocked like olympic rings. Only in San Jose I tell ya.

"Scott, a Coal Creek resident who preferred not to give his last name, first played disc golf in the ’70s and began designing his own course on his and surrounding neighbors’ property in the early ’90s. “My buddy said you gotta play disc golf in these woods, so we started tagging the trees with surveying ribbons. We would just hit the trees that had the ribbons on them,” says Scott. He met his wife of 15 years, Diane, when she came to play on his course, and soon they were tracing the paths between the holes as many as four times a day while their two cats and two dogs trailed behind them, respectfully watching as they putted.

Over the past four years, new residents and fellow disc-golf enthusiasts Brad Dickson, Will and Bryce have helped extend the course. Dickson at first fashioned baskets approximating regulation style out of barbed wire and rusty metal, but the group has added a new twist. Many of the holes have unique themes conjured from items such as climbing equipment, mountain bike parts, horseshoes and train spikes—for the hole bordering the tracks, of course. The neighbors now have an 18-hole course and a mini nine-hole course for putting practice, which together span four properties.

Courses like Scott and Diane’s conform to their natural surroundings, encompassing numerous trees, boulders and sharp drop-offs, plus property lines that are considered out of bounds. Both Dickson and Colwell warn newcomers of a unique hazard on one of the holes—a dog behind an invisible fence on the left. When a disc sailed into his territory, the ever-watchful husky scooped it up and galloped around with it, finally depositing it 50 feet back in the wrong direction from the hole. (Is this the equivalent of the ball golfer’s water hazard?) At another point in the game, Dickson climbed 30 feet up a tree to retrieve his driver. Sometimes even that level of tenacity won’t bring a rogue disc back: Story recalls a day when an off-target disc landed on the coal car of a passing train."

Welcome to Brown Town! It's my backyard mini-course. So far I have four holes set up but there is plenty room for more. I've decided to install temporary targets I can build on the cheap and here are a few.

The course is fairly technical considering the number of trees in the way but each hole plays pretty short. I've considered calling each hole par-2 cause anyone with mad skillz should accomplish this. Because of all the hazards though...I don't know.

Take the first hole for example:
This target sits in the center of a redwood grove. I call it the cathdral hole. It's well guarded and to get here you have to dog-leg to the right from the top of a ridge. I think it's about 250ft from tee to target.

Yes...this target is a cymbal suspended by the gallow's pole. I can't do justice with my photography however cuz this target sits on an old growth redwood stump on the edge of a cliff. A total gut check shot! If you blow this target you are crawling at least 50ft down into a ravine. Tripple boogey for you mofo!.....are you feeling lucky? tee to target....250ft. Hole name: Stump!

This hole is called end of the road....bout 300ft....and you guessed it, it sits at the end of a trail. Good use of a supersized funnel I must say.

I'll see what I can do about documenting the course a little better.....especially as it expands. To be honest I don't play it nearly enough. I'm kind of scared of the little monster. The course descends into a deep ravine and it's a little spooky. Supposedly a mountain lion lives somewhere at the bottom of the ravine. If you don't see anymore posts from me assume the worst!

Oh yeah....all these targets combined cost about $5.

Nice tripod, huh? This is a field target I created from reclaimed parts....so it cost me nothing. I have three of them and I keep a couple in the trunk now (to hang from goalposts at the soccer field). I can hang them anywhere (including a tripod) and it's a great skill shot. The materials: 2 flower pots, rubber tubing, hub cap dish, rope, and plastic bags stuffed inside the tube.

Rock and roll! Check out the efforts of these cool folk working to bring the Bay State another great place to toss. Their first big work event is set to happen this weekend. I wish you good weather and great energy. Here are the temporary targets that will grow this course.

I went to the Home Depot this morning and bought the rest of the materials for our temp baskets. After some experimentation, I figured out that the best way to cut a hole in a tennis ball is by using a drill with a hole-cutting attachment. The utility knife method was just too difficult and dangerous for me (I've lost enough fingers already thank you very much). Once I exerted some pressure on the ball to flatten it a bit, the drill cut a nice hole through the ball. It took me a few tries before I got it right, but once I learned to go slow and steady, it was no problem.

Next, I drilled four holes in the bottom of the buckets to make it kid-proof and slightly less attractive to thieves. My prototype from last week did not hold, so I'm going to try some different adhesive this time. It's hard to find adhesive that says it works with plastic.

In 1977 Ed Headrick patented this basket-target for disc (Frisbee) golf. (U.S. Patent 4,039,189) (PDF). After the patent had expired, Headrick's company (DGA) sued Champion Disc for trade dress infringement. The district court threw out the case, finding that the patented design was functional and thus could not retain trade dress protection. The holding was affirmed by Disc Golf Assoc., Inc. v. Champion Discs, Inc., 158 F.3d 1002 (9th Cir. 1998).

In addition to this patent, "Steady" Ed invented the modern Frisbee and the game of disc golf! Before he died in 2002, he made this remark.

"I felt the Frisbee had some kind of a spirit involved. It’s not just like playing catch with a ball. It’s the beautiful flight."

Came across this great story in my webhunting...eat your heart out!

To anyone not familiar with disc golf, it is more or less the hippy form of playing golf. Basically you go to a disc golf park with some friends, start at the tee, and throw your disc towards the basket. The discs are not exactly frisbees as they tend to be made out of thicker plastics and are consequently always much heavier than regular frisbees. Just like golf, you see where your disc lands, go to it, and throw it again. There are about 18 disc golf parks in the greater Austin area and I have played around 7 of them. To date I have no hole-in-ones, but I have been pretty close and have made a few birdies. As you can probably tell, the game is scored just like golf, and scores are typically in the same range as a normal golf game.

The only drawback to disc golf is that it's pretty hard to practice it without actually going out to a course. At least in golf you can purchase a small hole for your backyard for practice putting and chipping. Disc golfing companies have offered a similar product for the sport though it is obviously much larger and expensive. Because of that, I decided to build my own.

All it took was a metal pole, some ply wood, a bunch of wooden dowel rods, and some spraypaint and waterproof cloths for the aesthetic.

The first part of the project simply consisted of cutting a circular top on the bandsaw. This was probably the hardest part of the whole thing though it turned out just fine. After this, I created the box bottom and used the drill press to make a few dozen holes around the base in which to fit the wooden dowel rods. Atop the dowel rods were narrow strips of plywood, simply to hold the dowel rods together. The entire apparatus had 1.5" holes drilled through it's center pieces in order to fit the metal pipe into it.

Once the initial design was completed, and as you can see by the pictures, I hung chains from the top which ultimately ran together to form a three-dimensional parabolic shape to the basket (as is pretty standard with the disc golf baskets). In addition, 4 extra chains were strung along the Z-Axis of the parabaloid to aid in slowing down the disc once it hit the chains. All in all, the chains still proved a bit too thin for the project, but it was not that often that a disc would fly through them without stopping.

Once these chains were attached, I bored a 1/4" hole through both the top and bottom portions of the metal pole which allowed me to add lockbolts to the apparatus, thus securing the basket to the pole.

With that in place, I decided to add a bit of feel to the basket and with cans of red and yellow spray paint available in the garage, I painted the bottom portion of the basket red, and the top part of the Das Avonni yellow. Finally, the cloths that were added were actually disposable rain slickers. The material was perfect for this project as it easily stretched to my liking and was very easy to staple-gun it to the painted plywood.

Anyone who is rather keen with the small disc golf world may have already picked up on where this thing got it's name from. One of the leading manufacturers of disc golf products is a company named Innova (I believe pronounced inuh'-va). Avonni is simply Innova spelled backwards. Perhaps this helps: innovA. The Das part just came from my usual game of adding such the word to a noun and pawning it off as a German influenced design.

What happened to Das Avonni?

After I had the Das Avonni in my front yard for a couple of days, I decided that I would give it to a few of my good friends (then roommates of one another), I brought it over to their house and we dug a hole in the ground in which to mount it. From what I understand, the Avonni was used from time to time in the backyard until they both moved into seperate homes and then I think it was either left there or ultimately dismantled and thrown away. ...a sad fate indeed.

Can I get my own Das Avonni?

Spent a couple of days camping with my lady at Mercey Hot Springs. This beautiful and quiet oasis can be found in Firebaugh, CA.

Don’t bother going there though because it sucks and you will hate it….so just stay away. Seriously…..don’t even think about going.

Recently someone decided to establish a 9-hole disc golf course. I was eager to check it out and write a review…so here it is.

The course itself is strung along the rolling peaks and valleys of the Panoche hills. The elevation shifts from 300’ to 1300 ft. I would say the average length of each hole is somewhere between 300’ to 450 ft. I called each hole a par three despite lengths that might warrant par four status. More on this in a moment.

When I initially checked out the course I wasn’t expecting much. Mercey’s web site noted that the course is sill in development and currently utilizes 5-gallon buckets and a couple of posts as targets. The tee/hole placements however are well thought out and documented on a map. I used the topo map to scout the course and was able to find all the tee’s and most of the targets although two buckets were missing. All of the tee pads are natural and undefined.

During my stay I gathered up some supplies and worked on the course a little and made some notable improvements:

-Found planter buckets for the missing holes
-Placed posts in each of the buckets and anchored each bucket down with rocks
-Trudged a trail through the grasses between each tee and target (hopefully the tees are a little easier to find).

My simple improvements made the course playable so I shot a round.

Wind plays a factor on each hole and because the wind can shift from game to game the course difficulty rating is hard to gauge. If the wind is flowing from the southeast, most holes will be a par-3 without question. In fact in during these optimal conditions you will drive like a champion and should throw harder and further than you ever have before (great ego boost for anyone working on their drives).

If the wind is blowing in from the northwest…forget about it! In these conditions most of the holes should probably be played par-4 because you will be fighting the whole time.

You will really have to think out your wind strategy.

What doesn’t come into play on this course are obstacles. Holes 1 and 4 are the only ones with real obstructions (bushes) and not one tree is to be found on these hills. For me this was a refreshing break as my home course (DeLa) is heavily wooded.

Taking trees out of the equation is interesting. You are liberated to throw without worry. This will definitely shift your game.

On holes 2,3,5,6 you shoot from peaks, across canyons, to targets on opposite peaks. In fact on hole 5 you will have to shoot over two canyons! Misjudging the winds or distances between peaks might mean an approach shot that requires you to throw from the floors of these grassy canyons with an upward pitch.

Discs can easily be lost in these thick grasses in the spring but I’m sure conditions will change during the hotter months (summer temps max 110 degrees).

Hole 4 is interesting because the target isn’t visible from the tee pad. It is obstructed by a series of bushes. I crushed a killer birdie, (aren’t I mean?) and scored my highlight of the round (and it’s the highlights that leave me wanting more).

On holes 6 and 7 you stay atop one ridge. The views are spectacular! Do yourself a favor and stay up on the ridge. An errant shot will have you shooting from the sides of this hilltop and shooting from the sides will certainly be trouble.

Hole 8 seems to be the signature hole on this course. It’s reminisant of Hole 27 at DeLaveaga but without the patches of trees to contend with. I think the drop is somewhere between 500’-600 feet and the target is probably 350’-400ft away from the tee (close to that jumble of white boxes). A barbed wire fence is the only obstruction between. Be careful moving through the fence.

Hole 9 is anti-climactic. I finished my round +6 which sounds about right considering my learning curve.

Potential exists for course expansion (as always). A landing strip, two beat up old houses and a scary grove of trees where a family of ravens and a barn owl live make up the land between hole 9 and the campsite. I see 3-6 holes that would make sense.

If you play this course let me know what you think. I hope to help the staff fashion some homemade baskets to replace the posts….if they want that sort of help. Of course it would be even better if they invest in some Mach 4’s or 5’s but that’s $1500 before cement.

Oh….and did I mention to just stay away from this place. Pretend I didn’t even mention it. And what ever you do, don’t take a relaxing soak in the 105 degree mineral water baths.
